Heritage Up until September 2006, the company raised in excess of £70,000 for the Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland , a charity which makes a dramatic difference to so many families facing the uphill struggle of coping with terminal illness and the loss of young children. In 2007, a team of seven travelled to Africa in an attempt to conquer Kilimanjaro, the largest free standing mountain in the world. It was our ambition to find a local children’s orphanage that we could support and were lucky enough to find the Tunahaki Centre in Moshi, Tanzania. This is a unique centre for street kids and orphans that was opened by David and Mary Ryatula in 1998. They not only gave up their jobs to look after these children, but they took them into their own home. Our drive now is to build a new orphanage which will provide these children with a safe home and ensure their on- going education. So far we have raised a staggering $150,000 for these children but our efforts do not stop there and the next fundraising project is already underway.
